 Its botanical name is Momordica charantia۔ Bitter gourd is usually eaten as a vegetable. Some people do not like it because it is bitter. But it is a very beneficial vegetable that activates many parts of the body and prevents various diseases.

 What is the Therapeutic use of Bitter gourd                       

Diabetes

Drinking two teaspoons of bitter gourd juice before meals every day increases the hormone insulin. This lowers the amount of sugar in the blood, so it is very useful in the disease.

Indigestion and flatulence

Drinking a teaspoon of bitter gourd juice two or three times a day helps in the digestion of food and does not cause flatulence.

Loss of appetite

 Regularly eating bitter gourd vegetables for a few days or drinking a  teaspoon of bitter gourd juice before meals makes you feel hungry.

Liver failure
